Lady Lucia Update (December Edition)

Hey, everyone!

Well, let’s jump right in. It’s the busiest season of the year for most of us, so I’ll try to keep things short and sweet this time around.

GENRE SURVEY

Calling ALL patrons! I’m posting a survey today to see what kind of content you’re most interested in reading when it comes to my works. This could very well influence what 2023 looks like in terms of my general focus, so I hope each and every one of you will participate! It’ll only take a few seconds. :)

WOW. Thank you so much, everyone! We’re more than halfway to the financial goal that will let me drop hours at my day job and increase my word count on all my stories due to the extra writing time. And, with just a few more patrons, I’ll be releasing a completed short story in January. ‘Tis the season for taking the Patreon plunge, or upping your pledge for the Quarter-Time Writer Goal. :)

“The Prefect” got the most votes again, but three other stories all tied for second place. I want to make sure those patrons get their money’s worth, too, so I added those titles to the official calendar above as well. If you ever want more influence, check out the third tier—bypass voting, and compel me to add more of what you want in addition to this schedule.

Per popular request, I’ve set things up where it’s easy to get from part to part without excessive scrolling involved!

DECEMBER. IS. BUSY.

It’s easily the most hectic month of my year. Work is crazy, there are more social commitments than usual, and I also travel at the end of the month to visit family. As a content creator, however, I’m determined to keep up with my writing as well. So, here’s my promise to all of you—I will maintain the 1.5 free posts per week that each website is getting, as well as the Patreon stories. All I need in return is a dash of patience. For example, right now I still have a “Coming Soon” post sitting there, and half a part uploaded today on Patreon. Hopefully, those will both be done and fully posted by the end of the weekend! Or maybe Monday morning . . .

I’m going as quickly as I can.

The good news is, January is pretty mild in comparison! Give it a few weeks, and I’ll be back to posting without any teases or delays. Well, I suppose there will always be teasing in some form with my writing style . . .
